Royal Caribbean crew member shares a day on a cruise ship
A member of the ice skating team showed off what her very busy days are like.

Cruise crew members rarely get a day off.
Instead, they get a few hours here and there. People working in entertainment (think musicians, ice skaters, and show performers) have it a little better, better, but they have more responsibilities than simply entertaining people.

Entertainers often work at muster stations on embarkation day. Because they're good at holding people's attention, they do a good job delivering the needed safety info.
Even when they are technically off, entertainers need to practice their craft, work out to stay in shape, and complete other onboard duties. Every crew member does drills and works to know what to do in the event of an emergency.
Alley, from the popular WanderlustAlley YouTube channel recently shows what a typical day is like for her while working onboard.
