Another Simple Favor

Fatale
Filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos (“The Favorite,” “Poor Things”) will reportedly write and direct an adaptation of Jean-Patrick Manchette’s short novel “Fatale”. The story follows Aimée Joubert, an emotionally detached professional assassin who uses her looks to manipulate and eliminate her targets. Third 28 Years Later Film
A recent production listing indicates that filming on the third and final film of the new “28 Years Later” trilogy will begin at the end of March. Danny Boyle, who directs the first part which opens in cinemas in June, returns to helm the third film which will again feature a script by Alex Garland (“Civil War”). [Source: World of Reel]

Ahead of its release on March 7th, a new TV spot has been released for the Robert Pattinson-led sci-fi tale “Mickey 17” from Oscar winning filmmaker Bong Joon Ho. The new spot takes a more serious tone than the darkly humored trailers, focusing on the plight of Pattinson’s character to feel human.s

The Studio
Apple TV+ has premiered a fake Super Bowl Big Game Spot for “Duhpocalypse,” a fake film being produced by Continental Studios within the upcoming actual comedy series “The Studio”.

Johnny Knoxville and Josh Hutcherson star in “Duhpocalypse” for Continental Studios which is run by Seth Rogen’s character in the show. “The Studio” is set to premiere March 26th on the Apple TV+ service.

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning
Paramount Pictures has released brief footage of Tom Cruise hanging upside-down off a 1930s bi-plane for a big stunt in the upcoming “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning”. As previously reported, Cruise apparently had to learn special breathing techniques in order to pull off these scenes.
