The 12th Arab Aviation Summit (AAS) is set to take place on February 17-18, 2025, in Riyadh, bringing together key industry leaders to discuss the future of aviation in the Arab world. Recognized as the “voice of the industry”, the summit serves as a bridge between the public and private sectors, shaping policies and investments that drive the aviation and tourism landscape in the region.
This year’s theme, “Uniting Leaders, Building Tomorrow: Advancing Global Aviation,” reflects Saudi Arabia’s ambitious aviation strategy, backed by a $100 billion investment to modernize infrastructure, enhance connectivity, and cement its position as a global aviation hub. With plans to triple passenger traffic, launch new airlines, and develop major airport expansions, the Kingdom is setting the stage for a transformation in global air travel.
The summit will feature an elite lineup of industry leaders, including Gabriel Semelas, President of Africa & Middle East at Airbus; Kamil Al-Awadhi, Regional Vice President of IATA; Abdul Wahab Teffaha, Secretary General of the Arab Air Carriers Organisation (AACO); Majid Khan, CEO of Saudi Air Connectivity Program; and Osamah Alnuaiser, Senior VP of Marketing & Corporate Communications at Riyadh Air.
