Apple is the world’s most valuable brand for the fourth year in a row
Brand value is estimated at $1.3 trillion.

- Apple has the world's most valuable brand, according to a study by Kantar Brandz. This is the fourth year Apple has taken top honors. Nvidia showed the highest growth among the Top 100 companies. And ChatGPT entered the list for the first time.
For the fourth consecutive year, Apple has emerged as the world's most valuable brand.
Kantar Brandz, which has been ranking brand value for 20 years, has once again given top honors to the Cupertino-based tech company, estimating its brand value at $1.3 trillion, a 28% increase over last year. To put that number in perspective, that amount is higher than the gross domestic profit of Saudi Arabia—and equivalent to the combined GDPs of Sweden, Vietnam, and Peru, combined.
Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Nvidia complete the list's top five, with Nvidia showing the biggest gains. In the past year, the chipmaker has seen its brand value increase 152%, the largest of any company on the list.
Huawei, VMware, Xiaomi, and Instagram also showed growth of more than 100%.
The highest newcomer to the list was, not surprisingly, OpenAI, which debuted at number 60 with a brand value of $43.5 billion. That puts the ChatGPT maker within striking distance of some very familiar consumer brands.
Disney, for instance, is ranked 52, with a brand value of $48.6 billion, and Nike is right above it with a value of $49.4 billion.
Several non-U.S. companies also made the list. Spotify re-entered the Top 100, in the number 76 slot. India’s Airtel and Argentinian retailer Mercado Libre also were in the Top 100.
Here's a look at the 10 leading companies and their brand value:
Apple - $1.3 trillion
Google - $944 billion
Microsoft - $885 billion
Amazon - $866 billion
Nvidia - $509 billion
Facebook - $301 billion
Instagram - $229 billion
McDonald's - $221 billion
Oracle - $215 billion
Visa - $213 billion
