Templa Unveils Biodegradable Puffer Jacket
In close partnership with ALLIED Feather + Down (AF+D) and premium performance wear manufacturer Active Apparel Group, Templa is releasing an innovative puffer jacket that aims to promote circularity with completely biodegradable components.The Hyperion jacket is composed of biodegradable 800-fill power-down insulation and biodegradable synthetic fabrics and trims sourced by AAG, as well as down from AF+D. Offered in "stone," "blush" and "black" colorways, the piece is "designed to disappear" within roughly 5 years. According to Templa, third-party certifications from Amni Soul Eco® by Solvay and CiCLO® confirm that all fill, trims and fabrics used for the jacket are 99%+ biodegradable. In a statement from Templa Founding Partner Anati Rakocz said “For us, this project is more than just an interesting silhouette or new technology; it is about making responsible choices for meaningful change.
