Monopoly Go is down and your rewards are being held hostage
Is Monopoly Go down? It looks like one of our favorite mustachioed men (not you, Mario) has encountered some issues today, as reports of players being unable to log into Scopely’s hit mobile game have skyrocketed. Currently, while you can launch the game and even seemingly get as far as claiming rewards, you can’t actually play Monopoly Go. After a few moments of animations and pop-ups, you’re met with an error screen that says ‘We’re sorry, an error occurred requiring the game to restart’. If you hit the big, green ‘OK’ button, you find yourself stuck in the same loop of pop-ups and animations, repeatedly claiming all those goodies that you can’t even use right now. It just feels cruel at this point.
