Discovered Café by SSP debuts as part of Christchurch Airport’s ongoing terminal revamp
“Discovered Café is a great spot for staff, passengers and those greeting loved ones, to grab a coffee or bite to eat,” says Christchurch International Airport Head of Customer Operations Craig Dunstan.
NEW ZEALAND. Discovered Café has landed at Christchurch Airport International Arrivals in partnership with travel restaurateur SSP Group.
In 2024, SSP won an eight-year contract to operate five outlets at Christchurch Airport, main gateway to the country’s South Island.
As reported, the leading F&B operator launched Fern & Co and Portal Bar & Eatery in December, both located at the doorstep of the domestic departure passenger screening.
The Discovered Café opening represents another step in an ambitious terminal revamp project, set for completion by mid-2025.
Christchurch International Airport Head of Customer Operations Craig Dunstan said: “The latest addition to our terminal’s food & beverage transformation has officially arrived.
“Located in International Arrivals and operated by the great team at SSP, Discovered Café is a great spot for staff, passengers and those greeting loved ones, to grab a coffee or bite to eat.”
