Buffett remains steadfast in investing philosophy
Berkshire Hathaway intends to use huge gains from Apple, other stocks to search for the right investments.

Warren Buffett wasn't always the Warren Buffett so many people admire.
When he started to assemble his Berkshire Hathaway conglomerate in the 1960s, he started by buying not-great companies at bottom-of-the-barrel prices. Then he replaced the managements.
Not long after, he became partners with the late Charlie Munger who pointedly said cheap companies being sold cheaply are cheap for a reason.
