Beyoncé has announced a ‘Cowboy Carter‘ tour.
Speculation that the singer would be heading on the road began in December when she teased that she was due to share some major news in the new year via a cryptic video clip, following her NFL Christmas Day Halftime Show.
Then, on January 14 – the day the announcement was initially scheduled for – Beyoncé shared that it would be postponed “due to the devastation caused by the ongoing wildfires around areas of Los Angeles”.
Now, the news has finally been revealed, with Bey taking to Instagram this morning (February 2) to announce an upcoming tour in celebration of her most recent album.
In the first post, a neon sign reading “Cowboy Carter Tour” flickers over a desert landscape. She then went on to post a photo of herself alongside the caption “Cowboy Carter Tour 2025”.
No dates or cities have been revealed yet, but you can check out the posts below.
Beyoncé last hit the road in 2023 to celebrate her ‘Renaissance’ album. Running from May to October and hitting 39 cities in 17 countries, it was one of the highest-grossing tours of all time, taking in a reported $579million (£455.7million) in revenue.
Since then, she released ‘Cowboy Carter’, which scored a five-star review from NME, with Jenessa Williams writing: “Even if interpreted only on the grounds of artistic spectacle, it’s an undeniable thrill to see her swing so big on a project that dares her to be so intimate and vocal-focused, while making way for country’s up-and-comers too.”
The album clinched the seventh spot in NME‘s 50 Best Albums of 2024 list, and ’16 Carriages’ was named the eighth Best Song of 2024.
In other Beyoncé news, in November she became the most-nominated musician in Grammy history. She previously tied Jay-Z with 88 nominations apiece, but has since been nominated for a whopping 11 awards at this year’s Grammys, all for ‘Cowboy Carter’. She now holds a record-breaking 99 nominations and in 2023 broke the record for most Grammy wins, taking home a total of 32 trophies.
It’s also been confirmed that she will be attending the ceremony, set to take place tonight (February 2).
