Waters Quickest in Fifth Practice at Bathurst

Cameron Waters ended up quickest in the fifth practice session of the weekend for the Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour.
Waters, in the No. 222 Scott Taylor Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo, completed a best lap of 2:03.693 in the one-hour session to edge out the No. 77 Craft-Bamboo Racing Mercedes-AMG of Lucas Auer by 0.08 seconds.
Ricardo Feller set the third quickest time in the No. 183 Jamec Racing/Team MPC Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, ahead of the No. 4 Grove Racing Mercedes-AMG of Fabian Schiller.
Daniel Serra completed the top-five in the No. 26 Arise Racing GT Ferrari 296 GT3.
The first red flag of the weekend came when the No. 24 Method Motorsport McLaren Artura GT4 of Paul Buccini made contact with the wall and ended up in the gravel trap at McPhillamy Park.
The sixth and final practice session is set to get underway at 10:25 a.m. local time (Friday, 6:25 p.m. ET).
