Waves). This new film is another collaboration with mega musician
The Weeknd, who is going by his real name in this -
Abel Tesfaye. Tesfaye stars as an unnamed musician, playing a version of himself, who is experiencing insomnia and other issues. He encounters a mysterious stranger, leading to a journey that challenges everything he knows about himself. The trailer is also rather vague and very mysterious. Co-starring
Jenna Ortega as Anima,
Barry Keoghan as Lee, and
Paul L. Davis as Lavi. This looks really cool, nearly apocalyptic & sci-fi at times, though also very psychedelic. Keep an eye out for it in the summer. //
