The Weeknd's After Hours Til Dawn Tour returns to North America
For an album called Hurry Up Tomorrow, The Weeknd sure seems to be enjoying the present era.
For an album called Hurry Up Tomorrow, there is some irony in the fact that The Weeknd’s latest project came out a week later than initially expected. That album is finally here today, though, and if it does end up being Abel Tesfaye’s final album under The Weeknd moniker, he’s certainly stretching it out for all its worth. The artist announced a new leg of the After Hours Til Dawn Tour this morning, with support from Playboi Carti and Mike Dean, who produced much of the latest album.
The After Hours tour was first announced in February 2020, and you can probably guess what happened next. It was first postponed until 2021, and it was ultimately 2022 by the time The Weeknd was able to hit the road. It mostly worked out in the musician’s favor, though; After Hours was a huge smash, with single “Blinding Lights” currently sitting as the single most-streamed song on Spotify. By the time he hit the road, the arena tour had become a stadium tour, visiting North America in 2022, Europe and Latin America in 2023, and Australia in 2024. The latest, and presumably last, leg kicks off in Phoenix in May, and tours North America until early September. You can check out all the dates below. Presale begins on February 5 at 10 am local time, with general onsale beginning on Friday, February 7 at 10 am local time.
