The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra camera rings are a lie!

When Samsung first unveiled the Galaxy S25 Ultra, one of the design changes that stood out was the introduction of color-matching camera rings around each lens. These sleek, metallic accents seemed like a nice touch and hinted at a fresh aesthetic direction for the S25 series. However, as it turns out, these rings aren’t quite the premium upgrade they appear to be.

In a recent durability test by JerryRigEverything, it was revealed that the camera rings are nothing more than cheaply glued-on accessories. Using a bit of force, the rings were easily pried off. What’s more, once the rings were removed, the phone looked very familiar. It became clear that Samsung had essentially reused the same camera module design from the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

It’s a bit of a pity since the camera rings on the Galaxy S25 Ultra don’t add any real durability or functionality. It’s a missed opportunity to make it stand out from its predecessor.

That said, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is still a powerhouse device with top-tier performance. It features an impressive display and a camera system that remains among the best in the industry. For those upgrading from older models, it’s undoubtedly a worthy investment. In fact, if you’re interested in picking up the phone for yourself, Samsung has some deals on its website.
