‘That’s very nasty’ – Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson disgusts Stephen A. Smith with stomach-turning ritual that kept him injury-free
Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson has revealed the unique way he kept former teammates free from injury. The method, which most would describe as unorthodox, was shared by the former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver on Stephen A Smith‘s podcast. Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson is a former NFL star and popular media personality In a conversation that left Smith gobsmacked, the former NFL star revealed that he used to apply his teammates’ urine to his ankles. The 47-year-old defended his method, claiming it was the reason why his ankle never got hurt and his grandmother shared it with him. “My grandma told me it’s the only the way, it’s why I never got hurt,” Johnson admitted to Smith when confronted about his methods. Shocked by Johnson’s honesty, Smith asked whether his partner had an issue with him putting his legs into urine. “I was focused, I would sleep alone,” the former star receiver added. “The urine, the toxins inside of it stops the swellings in less than 24 hours.” This is not the first time the six-time Pro Bowler has shared this information, seemingly suggesting he has no reason to hide his unusual ritual. Back in November, on the ‘7PM in Brooklyn‘ podcast, Johnson revealed how he would collect his teammate’s urine after team meetings. Johnson revealed this shocking method on The Stephen A. Smith Show ‘”Everybody, hey y’all, boy, do me a favor, boy. My ankle kind of f***ed up, I need you to all y’all to drink water at one time. So, when we break meeting, if y’all pee it’s a bucket in the bathroom,” the former NFL star revealed. Since Johnson went ahead with the method, it’s clear that his teammates did not have an issue with facilitating one of their best player’s unconventional tactic. It also becomes hard to challenge the method when reflecting on Johnson’s successful career in the NFL. He spent 11 years in the NFL, with 10 at the Bengals and despite not winning a championship enjoyed a highly productive career. Johnson’s accolades include being a six-time NFL Pro Bowler, two-time First-team All-Pro and also being the receiving yards leader in 2006.
