Taylor Swift is set to attend this year’s Super Bowl to support boyfriend Travis Kelce, new reports claim.
Set to take place this Sunday (February 9), the long-anticipated event will see the Kansas City Chiefs go head-to-head with the Philadelphia Eagles at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
The news that the pop star would be attending the game comes following a new interview with the athlete’s brother – former Philadelphia Eagles centre, Jason Kelce. Speaking to People ahead of this weekend’s game, the 37-year-old said: “I think everybody’s coming in. I don’t want to speak for everybody, but I think obviously, our whole family.
“I believe, obviously Trav and Taylor, and his family and his friends,” he continued. “I mean, Trav always travels full. Even when he’s in regular season mode… he’s always got a bunch of his friends there. It’s been this way his whole career.”
The 2025 instalment of the Super Bowl gives Travis Kelce’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs, the rare chance to be the first team in NFL history to “three-peat” after they won in 2023 and 2024.
Swift made her first appearance at one of the Chief’s games back in September 2023 and has consistently been seen in the audience supporting her partner at other games. One of the most recent events came as she was spotted in the crowd during the team’s game against the Buffalo Bills in Kansas City on January 26.
Before then, the pop star’s attendance at the 2024 Super Bowl helped it become the most-watched broadcast in US TV history since the 1969 moon landing.
According to reports from Yahoo! And The Sun, Swift has spoken about her upcoming attendance at the game and said that she doesn’t want to take the spotlight away from Kelce.
“Taylor doesn’t want to be the centre of attention,” a source told the outlets. “She just wants to support Travis and help him focus on the game.”
“She wants Travis to enjoy his Super Bowl week experience and be at 110 per cent for Sunday, as she is dreaming about him making Super Bowl history and reaching another dream of his, winning another Super Bowl and making a three-peat.”
In other Taylor Swift news, the singer made headlines after she was seen dancing with Margaret Qualley to Billie Eilish’s live rendition of ‘Birds Of A Feather’ at the 2025 Grammys. She was also given high words of praise from Gracie Abrams, who declared that no man has “come close to defining pop culture” as she has.
