Point guard Davion Mitchell has been traded to the Miami Heat for forward P.J. Tucker, a second-round pick and cash, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported Thursday.
According to Sportsnet’s Blake Murphy, the second-round pick is a 2026 selection from the Los Angeles Lakers.
Mitchell, 26, was acquired by the Raptors in an off-season trade with the Kings that sent Jalen McDaniels to Sacramento.
In his lone year in Toronto, Mitchell has averaged 6.3 points, 1.9 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 0.7 steals in 24.5 minutes per game. He has appeared in 44 outings and started in 22 of them.
He is set to become a restricted free agent after this season.
Tucker, meanwhile, was acquired by the Heat in a five-team deal from the Los Angeles Clippers earlier this week. The 39-year-old has been an afterthought for the Clippers this season and has yet to suit up for a game.
