Rituals Cosmetics records €2.1 billion in revenues for 2024, with sales growth led by Europe and Asia

Rituals Cosmetics records €2.1 billion in revenues for 2024, with sales growth led by Europe and Asia

Wellbeing house Rituals Cosmetics recorded +21% growth in global net revenues in 2024, reaching €2.1 billion (US$2.205 billion). The European market accounted for most of Rituals’ organic growth, with additional progress in Asia. 

The company reported increased sales through its retail and ecommerce channels, supported by product launches, omnichannel operations and an expanded loyalty programme.  

Rituals opened 241 stores globally, including its first store in Japan and additional locations in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and mainland China. The company also added three Mind Oasis locations, focusing on relaxation and wellbeing. 

The company plans to open another 243 stores worldwide this year. It aims to sustain momentum in Europe across retail, digital, wholesale and travel retail while expanding in Asia.

Business as a force for good 

Rituals has achieved B Corp recertification, meeting required social and environmental performance standards. The brand’s refill programme has also gained traction, with over 8 million refills sold, helping to reduce packaging waste. 

As reported, the company has launched its 10% Profit Pledge, committing 10% of its net profit from the previous year to support Environmental, Social and Governance initiatives around the world. 

Rituals has partnered with three new organisations: War Child, supporting the wellbeing of children affected by conflict; Blue Marine Foundation, combating overfishing and protecting marine ecosystems; and National Geographic Pristine Seas, creating marine protected areas. 

They join existing partners Sacred Forests, supporting Indigenous communities and protecting native lands; Super Chill, helping children build mental resilience; and Tiny Miracles, providing income, healthcare and education for underprivileged communities in Mumbai, India. ✈
