nanamica and Batoner Release Capsule of Winter Essentials

nanamica has released an inaugural collaboration with Batoner featuring a lineup of cold-weather essentials. Combining functional and artisanal elements, Batoner lent its premium knitwear approach to a line-up of core pieces in nanamica's pared-back style. Each of Batoner's pieces is crafted in a Sagae City factory in the Yamagata prefecture, a region famous for its knitwear manufacturing. While the label was born in 2013, it has deeper roots with inspiration from Okuyama Meriyasu who established the original brand in 1951.The collaborative collection is led by a quilted liner jacket in two classic colorways: khaki and navy. Each jacket features a knitted shell boasting a diamond pattern embedded into the fabric construction and contrast piping along the edges. Inside, a synthetic lining adds a layer of insulation and a special cobranded tag features the word marks of both labels. For the closer layers, the partners have designed a new long-sleeve t-shirt with horizontal stripes offered in khaki/white and gray/black stripes. The shirts appear to be made in an oversized fit with dropped shoulders, in line with nanamica's established aesthetic. Finally, the collection includes two puffer scarves featuring striped and synthetic lining fabrics on alternating sides.nanamica and Batoner's inaugural collection is available now at nanamica's web store and the brand's physical locations.Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
