Mathys Tel in shock U-turn as Bayern forward completes Tottenham loan move – and he could sign on permanent deal

Mathys Tel has joined Tottenham on loan – just days after rejecting a move to north London. Chelsea were another interested club, though Tel had reservations over how much he would play with the Blues boasting a stacked front line. It’s been a disappointing so far for Tel, who is yet to get on the score sheet from any of his 14 appearances under Vincent Kompany. He has been limited to just eight Bundesliga outings – starting on just two occasions. Tel’s arrival at Spurs will be welcome news to fans who have been crying out for a new forward.
