In addition to announcing his Los Angeles residency shows, John Carpenter has unveiled Lost Themes: 10th Anniversary Expanded Edition.
Commemorating a decade since his 2015 solo debut, the album includes two previously unreleased songs from the original recording session: “Cruisin’ with Mr. Scratch” — streaming below — and “Dominator.”
Lost Themes: 10th Anniversary Expanded Edition will be released on May 9 via Sacred Bones Records.
Featuring artwork by Greg Ruth, a one-time art edition vinyl pressing comes with a 7″ with the two new tracks.
The standard edition features a hot pink LP and a hot pink 7″ for $31. Sacred Bones’ exclusive variant includes a “Green Abyss” LP with a “Wraith Blood Splatter” 7″. Limited to 750, it costs $33.
You can also get the exclusive variant with an “Anti-God Green” John Carpenter mini-bust, limited to 100, for $75.
The master of horror is accompanied by his son Cody Carpenter on synthesizer and godson Daniel Davies on guitar.
