Incoming colleague crticising manager
A peer from another part of my organisation criticised my line manager (who I think highly of) in a private discussion to me, and I didn't react. However, due to office politics the peer will be joining our team for half the week (and remaining in their old role for the rest of the week). Should I warn my line manager that the peer thinks poorly of them? How should I treat my peer if they continue badmouthing my manager?
