G-Dragon has revealed that his long-awaited solo comeback album, titled ‘Übermensch’, will be released later this month.

Today (February 4), G-Dragon uploaded a teaser to his YouTube channel announcing the new record. The brief new clip features two silhouettes walking toward one another amid a colourful backdrop, while a crowd cheers.
Due out February 25, ‘Übermensch’ will mark G-Dragon’s third studio album overall and his first body of work in seven years. Other details, including its tracklist, singles and more, are to be announced at a later stage.
Prior to the K-pop idol’s comeback announcement, G-Dragon had already released two new standalone singles in 2024: ‘Power’ and ‘Home Sweet Home’, featuring Big Bang bandmates Daesung and Taeyang.
‘Übermensch’ will be G-Dragon’s first music under Galaxy Corporation and American record label EMPIRE, which he signed with after leaving longtime label YG Entertainment in 2023. He had been with the Korean music label for about two decades.
G-Dragon debuted as the leader of YG Entertainment boyband Big Bang in 2006. He later launched his solo career in 2009 with his studio album ‘Heartbreaker’, which was followed by the EP ‘One of a Kind’ and album ‘Coup d’Etat’. These subsequent releases spawned hits like ‘Crayon’, ‘That XX’ and ‘Crooked’.
