First Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow Image And New Superman TV Spot

The first Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow image has been released, plus a new Superman TV spot for the upcoming DCU films. Let’s begin with Supergirl. Woman of Tomorrow began filming just recently and DC Studios boss James Gunn has posted the first image from the film online. Check it out.

I’m no Supergirl comic fan, but I’m told by fans that this image is very much in keeping with comic being adapted. That being Woman of Tomorrow by Tom King. It seems this scene will be set in an off-world bar. Woman of Tomorrow is being Craig Gillespie and stars Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El. It’ll be a while before we see a trailer I’m guessing, but this should whet the appetite. Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is set for June 26, 2026.

In more DCU news, the studio has released a new TV spot for Superman, out this July. The spot only has one piece of new footage not seen in the initial trailer. The spot ends with Superman (David Corenswet) flying through frozen lands.

Superman is, alongside Fantastic Four the movie I’m most looking forward to catching in 2025. So far I like the approach to the marketing for both films, which is minimal in terms of plot. We’ve still to get the first proper FF trailer mind, but we shall see.
