The re-modelled Danske Bank-sponsored lounge features touches of classic Danish design and now includes soundproofed office pods and LED screens to provide passenger entertainment.

“Danish design” – Aviator Airport Alliance reveals renovated lounge at Copenhagen Airport

DENMARK. Aviator Airport Alliance has opened the doors to its renovated business lounge at Copenhagen Airport, following a brief closure.

Aviator partnered with well-known Danish brands including Muuto, Andersen Furniture and +Halle, as well as international supplier VITRA, to complete the refit, which features custom-made, modular lightweight furniture and locally sourced art installations.

To improve passenger flow, the food & beverage buffet area of the Danske Bank-sponsored lounge has been repositioned, which Aviator said makes the space “more accessible and comfortable for all, regardless of how busy it gets”.

Other new features include soundproofed office pods for focused work or private calls, LED screens for entertainment, and additional power outlets for guest digital device charging.

Aviator noted that sustainability was a guiding principle in the lounge renovation, with an emphasis on eco-friendly materials and greater energy efficiency.

Aviator Airport Alliance Head of Hospitality Patrik Bayardo said: “This was a multi-layered project that required expertise across several areas, and I’m incredibly grateful to our team for managing it all so smoothly.
