So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out. We post music news, track premieres, and more all day. We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.

KNEECAP – “H.O.O.D” REMIXES

Irish rap group Kneecap have given their infectious 2019 banger “H.O.O.D” a new mix for 2025, as part of an EP that also features remixed by Working Men’s Club and Sam Interface.

KING HÜSKY (KVELERTAK’S VIDAR LANDA) – “LATELY I’VE BEEN THINKING OF YOUR MOTHER”

When Vidar Landa isn’t busy playing guitar in Norwegian metal band Kvelertak he makes gentle indiepop as King Hüsky. “Lately I’ve Been Thinking of Your Mother” is lovely.

ZACH BRYAN – “BLUE JEAN BABY”

“Blue Jean Baby” has been floating around the Zach Bryan repertoire for a while–he called it “a demo turned into a half song that people have been asking for for a long time”–and he promised to release the official recording if the Eagles made it to the Super Bowl. That happened over the weekend, and Zach made good on his promise.

DEAFHEAVEN – “MAGNOLIA”

Deafheaven announced their new album Lonely People With Power, which you can pre-order our exclusive “honeyed heat” vinyl variant of, and lead single “Magnolia” suggests this album could have their heaviest material since 2015’s New Bermuda. Read more here.

DUTCH INTERIOR – “FOURTH STREET”

Los Angeles band Dutch Interior have announced their new album, Moneyball, which is also their Fat Possum debut. “Fourth Street” is appealing hazy, sludgy country rock.
