ANDREW MCCASKILL: The opportunities are becoming fewer and further between, we'll see things like 9% of the roles that are available on LinkedIn are actual remote work roles. But here's the thing 40% of the people who are applying for those jobs are applying for remote work first. There's a couple of ways that you can think about this. One is that if you want remote work, you're going to have to really make a strong case for it, and you're going to have to be really strategic about how you find it. Doing things like looking at using LinkedIn's jobs filter search by location, because then it tells you in the dropdown whether or not it's hybrid or remote or where it's actually located. So that's a great way to identify remote work.

The other thing is that you're going to have to prove that you can actually do remote work really well. So on your LinkedIn profile or on your resume, put on there exactly how you've excelled in a remote environment. It's going to be really important to be able to say I had these impacts without being in the office. Finally, you may have to decide how important remote work is to you and what you're willing to sacrifice to get that remote work. There's a couple of industries that are probably a little bit more open to remote work. I think you've got to do your research and find those.

I'll give you some cheat codes. Number one, think about professional services. They're more. They're more amenable to remote work. Think about it like that. Finding those industries that I think that they're more interested in that. And you may find that those opportunities, if you actually put it on your resume and put it on your LinkedIn profile, you'll get what you want.
