Whether you commute to the office a few days a week or just want a more convenient mode of transportation, e-bikes have a lot to offer these days. To say the price of entry is cheaper than buying a car would be an understatement, and being able to remove the battery and recharge it beats paying for gas or calling an Uber.

If you think you might be in the market for a new e-bike, Walmart has a great Flash deal on the Jasion EB5 Electric Mountain Bike — now just $399 for a limited time.

Get it.

The EB5 weighs 49.6 pounds, has a carry capacity of 264 pounds, and is recommended for riders between 5 feet 4 inches and 6 feet 4 inches. On a full charge, its 36-volt battery has a range of about 19 to 25 miles, or 25 to 40 miles in pedal-assist mode. In addition to pure electric and pedal assist, the bike also features an old-fashioned pedal mode and a "booster mode," which is meant to aid you when powering uphill.

Its 350-watt brushless motor has a maximum speed of 20 miles per hour, so when you factor in five or six hours of battery life per charge, it's especially ideal for urban areas with dedicated bike lanes, cruising around the neighborhood, or leisurely rides out in the wilderness. The EB5 is equipped with 26-inch rugged puncture-resistant tires, front and rear disc brakes, and a front suspension. At this price point, it's available in black, blue, and green; you can get it in orange or khaki for about $10 more.
