Spotify gets on in the joke after Spiritbox and Poppy viral Grammys mix-up 

Spotify has jumped in on the joke after an interviewer mistook Spiritbox’s Courtney LaPlante for Poppy over the weekend.

The moment took place at the 67th annual Grammy Awards last Sunday (February 2), when Spiritbox frontwoman Courtney LaPlante was mistaken for Poppy during an interview.

When being asked about the Best Metal Performance nod, the singer decided to go along with the mistake and answer as if she were Poppy.

After originally giving the interviewer a look of confusion, LaPlante said: “I am Poppy, and I am really happy to be here nominated with Knocked Loose. I really hope we win.”
