Seeking Advice Regarding Clearance and Housing Situation
I have a question. Back in 2024, I interviewed for a job, and the company sponsored my clearance. At the time, I was looking for housing near the job location, but many apartments weren’t available. Now that my clearance is fully adjudicated and I have about a month before I start work, I’ve noticed that housing prices have gone up. Unfortunately, my salary won’t cover rent and other expenses, and I don’t have any financial help right now. I’ve already emailed my manager to explain the issue, but I wanted to know—would it be possible to find another company to take over my clearance without my current company blocking my clearance?
