The former Toronto Blue Jays outfielder has agreed to a one-year, $5-million deal with the club, the team announced Tuesday.
With incentives, the deal could be worth $5.5 million.
In late October, Feinsand reported Grichuk had declined a $6-million option with the Diamondbacks and would become a free agent. The move included a $500,000 buyout.
Grichuk, 33, slashed .291/.348/.528 with 12 homers and 46 RBIs in 106 games for the Diamondbacks last season.
Grichuk was a Blue Jay from 2018-21. He also has played for St. Louis, Colorado and the Los Angeles Angels.
