Play PS Plus shooter Far Cry New Dawn while you can

Far Cry New Dawn is a standalone spin-off that serves as a sequel to Far Cry 5. It was added to PS Plus Extra/Premium catalog in December 2022 alongside its predecessor (re-added in 2024) and 2016 spin-off Far Cry Primal.

Ubisoft games tend to stay in the catalog for a long time, and some even return, but since the aforementioned games have crossed the 24-month mark, it’s best to knock them out now. Most games typically leave PS Plus after two years at max but Sony’s deal with Ubisoft is a bit more generous than that.

If you’re one of the rare ones who don’t have a PS Plus membership but do have a Ubisoft+ standalone subscription, you can play also get Far Cry New Dawn and its PS5 update for free.

For the trophy hunters, the game takes about 20 hours to Platinum, and is fairly straightforward.
