PS Plus Membership Sale for Premium & Extra Starting to Rollout

It seems Sony is rolling out a new sale for PS Plus Premium and Extra memberships. Details have surfaced ahead of the discounts, which will allow those looking to subscribe to save a good chunk on PlayStation’s online service.

Players that want the new PS Plus Premium and Extra offer will want to act fast

As spotted by several eagle-eyed Reddit users in Italy, Canada, and the UK, players can save up to 35% off on PS Plus. Specifically, those who decide to join can get 25% off on a 12 month Extra subscription and 35% off on a 12 month Premium subscription. This offer will last between today, January 22, and February 2, 2025.

Currently, PS Plus is full price here in the U.S. Interestingly, one of the posts is from a user in Italy, but the offer has not yet rolled out in that region. However, the offer does seem to be available for those in Canada and the UK.

Additionally, it does seem that this offer is for PlayStation players not currently subscribed to PS Plus. So, if you are currently a subscriber, you may be out of luck. Players that don’t have a membership should jump on this offer if they can.

PS Plus’s main draw are the games that can be redeemed and played at no additional cost, especially for Premium and Extra subscribers who get access to the Game Catalog, which includes games like God of War (2018), and Final Fantasy VII Remake. Premium subscribers get an added bonus with several PlayStation Classics that can be played with the membership. This includes beloved titles like Sly Cooper and Dino Crisis.

The free January 2025 games for Essential subscribers include Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered, The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe, and Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League.
