Nothing has officially announced the launch of its highly anticipated Phone (3a) Series, set to be unveiled on March 4th at 5 AM ET. The announcement came during the company’s latest Community Quarterly Update video, in which co-founder Akis Evangelidis shared details about the new smartphone lineup and the company’s approach behind it.
According to Evangelidis, “For the (a) Series we have a different set of users. When people buy a smartphone some are looking for the greatest specs, they want the latest innovations and processors. Yet there are some other users that are equally excited about tech, but are happy with just a great user experience – that’s who the (a) Series is for. We’re really focused on the core user needs in terms of camera, screen, processor, and of course design.”
In addition to launching the Nothing Phone (3a), the company also highlighted their financial achievements. Since being founded in October 2020, the company has surpassed $1 billion in lifetime revenue. Nothing says that over half of that revenue was generated in 2024 alone, which suggests that the company is gaining popularity pretty quickly.
The Nothing Phone (3a) will represent the company’s more affordable lineup of phones. So if you’re looking for a new and potentially more affordable Android smartphone, check back with us on the 4th of March for details on the launch of the Nothing Phone (3a)!
