New Monster Hunter Wilds Trailer reveals Gore Magala

Capcom has released a new trailer for the upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds, revealing that the elder dragon Gore Magala will make its return alongside the Nerscylla and a new monster called the Hirabami. The trailer was shown off at the Capcom Spotlight, along with the news that the upcoming Open Beta Test would also allow players to fight the Arkveld. The reveal of Gore Magala's return came during a teaser at the end of the trailer, where the beast attacks a patrol of hunters. Gore Magala was the flagship monster of Monster Hunter 4, though there is no word yet on whether its signature Frenzy Virus mechanic or its adult form the Shagaru Magala would also make a return. In addition to the Gore Magala reveal, the showcase also gave us a look at a new location in Monster Hunter Wilds called the Iceshard Cliffs, which is a mountainous zone full of snow. This area appears to be inhabited by a new monster known as the Hirabami that can attack in packs, similar to the Doshaguma.
