MGM reveals updates to loyalty program, including Marriott partnership

If you're like most travelers, you're loyal to a handful of brands. You have a favorite airline, hotel, rental car, and, of course, cruise line.

When you join a rewards program, you earn points toward free stays, food and drink, services, and preferential treatment (such as early check-in/late check-out) the more often you visit your preferred brand.

Many brands within the hospitality industry also partner with other brands to encourage travelers to stay within their shared ecosystem.

Take MGM.

MGM Resorts' loyalty program is rolling out new industry-leading benefits for millions of members, including the debut of Milestone Rewards to unlock more perks in between tiers, expanded tier match benefits with Marriot Bonvoy, enhanced benefits through Royal Caribbean, the launch of an eGift card, and coming soon, a credit card.

We listened to feedback from our members and wanted to recognize and reward guests’ advancements throughout every level which is our central focus in delivering a best-in-class loyalty experience.”
