Johnny Knoxville and Josh Hutcherson get duked by zombie diarrhea in the explosive faux-trailer for Duhpocalypse, a fictional film from Apple TV+’s upcoming comedy series “The Studio.”
Seth Rogen stars as the newly appointed head of Continental Studios. Desperate for the approval of celebrities, he and his team of studio executives must juggle corporate demands with creative ambitions as they try to keep movies alive and relevant.
In the clip, Knoxville describes Duhpocalypse as “a dark satire about medical disinformation” while the execs panic over theater owners refusing to play the trailer due to the diarrhea explosion.
Premiering on March 26, “The Studio” was created by Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Peter Huyck, Alex Gregory, and Frida Perez.
