Joe Biden finds himself an agent, again

Oh, you thought Joe Biden's decision to step away from the campaign trail meant he might actually retire at the end of his term? Wrong. The former president is currently living out the dreams of thousands of TikTok actors across the nation: he found himself some representation. And it's not just any representation, either; Biden signed with CAA, one of the most prestigious talent agencies around. Seems like all those hopeful influencers need to do to really make it in the big leagues is serve for eight years as vice president before becoming the oldest sitting president in American history. That's easy enough!

Biden has actually been repped by CAA before, from 2017-2020. (During his time away from the White House, a.k.a. Trump's first term.) During that time, he published his memoir Promise Me, Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship, and Purpose and sold over 85,000 tickets (per Variety) to his American Promise tour, which was billed as "a series of conversations that will go beyond the 24-hour news cycle and 140-character arguments to connect friends and neighbors around the topics that matter most."

You know who else has experience selling out shows, campaigning, and influencing American culture? Newly-minted Grammy winner Charli xcx, who's also repped by CAA. Maybe the two will do some sort of collab. Sabrina Carpenter is also an option. Perhaps "Espresso": the "I'm working late 'cause I'm the president" remix? The possibilities are endless, now that Biden is in the inner circle. Maybe his farewell address was really just an audition for Hulu's next political thriller. He wouldn't even need to go method!
