Is it appropriate to write a farewell post on LinkedIn after failing a probation period
I just failed the probation period. I didn't meet the expectations that are set by the company for all newcomers at the position I had. The probation period is 6 months long and I was kicked out after 5 months. I was in a team of 10 people under a supervision of one manager. It's an international company with 400k employees. The reasons why I didn't pass the probation period were related to not working fast enough under the time pressure, making mistakes, not being able to learn understand the technicalities of the system at the expected pace set as a guideline by the company. Is it appropriate to write a farewell post on LinkedIn thanking for this opportunity, thanking my teammates and manager for the valuable support and the chance to grow in the technical knowledge as well as language-wise, which I also improved a lot?
