Ilana Glazer is working on a Sex And The City-style show
Ilana Glazer appeared on Jesse Tyler Ferguson's podcast and said that they're at work on a Sex And The City-style show about two women and two gay men.
Ilana Glazer is moving back to the city—or at least, they'd like to. Six years after Broad City left town, Glazer said they're working on a new Sex And The City-style show about two women and two gay men. Appearing on Jesse Tyler Ferguson's Dinner's On Me podcast [per IndieWire], Glazer, who uses she/they pronouns, said that they are in the middle of "doing a rewrite" on a new television project described as "Sex And The City with two women and two gay guys" because "the woman and gay guy friendship is a big deal." Glazer says that their best friend is their brother, a gay man, and that "all of my best friends growing up are gay boys. I want it to be them."
After wrapping Broad City in 2019, Glazer has bounced between television, film, and stand-up comedy. They've voiced roles on a Green Eggs And Ham cartoon series, which allegedly aired on Netflix for two seasons, and appeared in the first season of The Afterparty on Apple TV+. Last year, Glazer starred in the underrated pregnancy comedy Babes and released a new "Hularious" stand-up special, Ilana Glazer: Human Magic.
