Holland America Line's new itineraries feature ancient, modern wonders
Holland America Line just opened bookings for 2026-2027 Panama Canal and Hawaii Cruises

Cruising is an efficient way to explore new cuisines, enjoy pastimes like gambling, get some sun and even explore some of the most well-known attractions in the world.
From the Taj Mahal and the Acropolis to more than a dozen other UNESCO World Heritage Sites, it's possible to cross bucket-list sites off your list while enjoying all the other amenities that come with cruising.
A plethora of Panama Canal experiences
The Panama Canal is a historic site, a feat of modern engineering and building, that has greatly reduced the amount of time ships need to cross from the Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean (and vice versa).
If traveling the length of the Panama Canal is on your must-see list, you can choose from twelve Holland America Line voyages, ranging from 14 to 21 days. Cruises are aboard Eurodam, Nieuw Amsterdam and Zuiderdam, and start or end in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; Seattle, Washington; San Diego, California; or Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
“It’s easy to understand why the Panama Canal — one of the engineering wonders of the modern world — is on the top of so many of our guests’ bucket lists,” said Holland America Line Vice President of Deployment Paul Grigsby.
“Each cruise will transit the historic canal, giving guests a front row seat to the fascinating operation of by locomotives that guide the ships through the locks. And not only will these itineraries that allow guests to not only experience a once-in-a-lifetime transit of the canal, but they also include exciting ports of call in both North and Latin America,” he added.
Holland America Line has six itineraries in Hawaii
If a laid-back beach vacation is more your style, Holland American Line can deliver that, too.
Holland America Line offers the choice of six itineraries ranging from 17 to 28 days. The cruises sail aboard Koningsdam, Noordam and Zaandam, and start or end in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; Seattle, Washington; or San Diego, California.
Each cruise to Hawaii features onboard programming to help guests further immerse in the destination, including talks and performances from cultural ambassadors, as well as the chance to participate in hands-on activities like hula dancing and ukelele lessons.
