An acclaimed horror adventure game is 80% off in a limited-time PS Store deal. Players have until February 13 to grab horror narrative game The Vanishing of Ethan Carter for just $3.99, down from its usual price of $19.99.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is part of the latest PS Store Critics Choice promotion, which ends on February 13. The game will revert to its full price after that date.

Having checked the game’s history on PSPrices.com, we believe that this is the lowest price The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is available for in PS Store sales as of 2023. It’s unlikely to go lower than this, and is well worth $3.99.

Released on the PS4 in 2014 (playable on PS5 via backwards compatibility), The Vanishing of Ethan Carter has players solving mysterious deaths. The game has a pretty strong narrative, and takes 4-5 hours to beat. Trophy hunters can expect a straightforward list. Unfortunately, however, there is no Platinum trophy to unlock.
